On Sunday, November 2 at 650pm, shortly after returning from our 2nd call within 40 minutes, Attack 47 was requested to assist the Newmanstown FC with a brush fire in the 200 BLK of Cocalico Rd. Attack 47 arrived behind Attack 34 finding a rapidly spreading woods fire endangering a garage, vehicle, and a home. Tanker and Engine 47 also made the response and assisted with extinguishment, water supply and overhaul. Crews from all companies were able to stop the progress of the fire preventing any damage to any exposures. The WVFC was on scene for over 3 hours.
