Today the WVFC kept busy responding to four calls including a crash with a driver confined.

0733 hours - Engine 47 assisted the Newmanstown Fire Co. with a vehicle accident with injuries at Sheridan Rd. & Bethany Rd. Assisted with basic vehicle accident operations.

1022 hours - WVFC dispatched to assist Western Berks EMS for a medical emergency at the Conrad Weiser High School in Heidelberg Twp.

1208 hours - Engine 47 and Rescue 18 (Western Berks FD) dispatched to assist the Robesonia Fire Co. with vehicle accident with entrapment at Penn Ave. & Bernville Rd. in Robesonia. Western Berks EMS arrived on scene with 1 driver confined to the vehicle. Assistant 47-1 arrived on scene establishing "Robesonia Command" and the crew from Rescue 18 utilized rescue tools to remove the driver door gaining access to the patient while WVFC personnel assisted with hazard control and debris clean-up.

1245 hours - Just after clearing the crash, the WVFC handled a tree down at Hill Rd. & Eagles Peak Rd. in Heidelberg Twp.
