This afternoon at 1321 hours, the WVFC was requested to assist the Strausstown Fire Co. with a fire in an equipment shed at East Coast Erosion Control, 443 Bricker Rd. in Upper Tulpehocken Twp. First due apparatus found a fully involved building.
Ladder 47 and Tanker 47 made the response and upon arrival Ladder 47 set up for master stream operations, being supplied by Engine/Tanker 50. Tanker 47 assisted in a tanker shuttle supplying 6 loads of water. Due to high winds and the materials stored in the building, it was a total loss. The company was on scene for almost 4 and a half hours.
