On Thursday, June 13 just before 630pm, the WVFC, along with Engine 26 (Robesonia), Rescue 34 (Newmanstown) and Western Berks EMS were dispatched to the 900 BLK of Hill Rd. for a vehicle accident involving an overturned golf cart with 3 subjects injured.

Assistant 47-1 arrived and established Heidelberg Command and determined there were a total of 5 patients. With no entrapment, Rescue 34 was cancelled. Additional EMS units were dispatched from Western Berks EMS and Newmanstown EMS as fire and EMS personnel began treating the victims.

The accident is under investigation by the South Heidelberg Twp. PD.
