This weekend WVFC volunteers handled 6 calls for service including 3 structure fires, a medical assist, fire alarm and a trees/wires down call.

On Sunday just before 9am just after Ladder 47 was returning from a fire alarm in South Heidelberg Twp, Attack 47 was special called to assist with a 2-alarm fire at 219 Indiandale Rd in Spring Twp., assisting the Spring Twp. FD. Attack 47 was assigned to establish a fill site at a pond on-site of the fire filling tankers. The crew was on scene for several hours before going available.
