Earlier today just before 5pm, the WVFC was dispatched to assist the Mt. Aetna Fire Co. with a vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer and multiple vehicles on fire endangering a house. The assignment was upgraded to a structure fire response bringing additional resources including the WVFC.

Upon arrival, the crew from L47 was assigned to monitor the endangered home with gas meters and ventilate it of fumes from the gas spill from the crash. Tanker 47 also made the response but staged as it was not needed.
