Early this morning just after the big fight at 1:13am, the WVFC, along with Engine 26 (Robesonia), Rescue 34 (Newmanstown), Rescue 31 (Keystone of Myerstown) and Western Berks EMS were dispatched to the area of 2nd St. and Brick Plant Rd. for a vehicle accident with entrapment.

Chief 47 arrived to find a single vehicle vs a tree with an occupant still inside.

Engine 47 arrived and after stabilization crews were able to access the vehicle. The only occupant was able to self-extricate themselves from the vehicle into the care of EMS and the incident was scaled back to the WVFC and fire police who handled traffic control.
