While you were sleeping, the morning started early for some WVFC volunteers as we answered a fire alarm activation just after midnight at the Conrad Weiser Homestead, along with the Robesonia Fire Company. The alarm was found to be false.

The same volunteers were awoke again at 0312 am when Tanker 47 was dispatched as a replacement tanker for a fully involved home at 1281 Fairview Dr. in Bern Twp, assisting the Greenfields Fire Company, as several other tankers from other fire companies failed to respond. Upon arrival the tanker assisted with water supply for several hours. This was the first response to Bern Twp. in our company's history.

At 1142am, the WVFC was dispatched for RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) to supplement the 2nd Alarm RIT team for a working house fire at 778 Mohns Hill Rd. in Spring Twp., assisting the Spring Twp. Fire Dept. Upon arrival our volunteers set up at the rear of the home and eventually were reassigned to assist with overhaul, returning to Womelsdorf several hours later.
