On Friday, March 21, at 1030pm the WVFC was dispatched to assist the Rehrersburg Fire Co. with a building fire at the Dieffenbach Chips factory at 51 Host Rd. in Tulpehocken Twp.
Ladder, Engine, and Tanker 47 made the response. Upon arrival, Ladder 47 crew was sent to the roof and assisted with extinguishing the fire. Engine 47 was assigned as the dump site engine while Tanker 47 staged for water supply. Crews were on scene for several hours doing overhaul before being released.
