| Yesterday two fires kept your WVFC volunteers busy for most of the morning.
Just after 3am, we assisted the Strausstown Fire Co. with a large hoop barn on fire that was full of hay. Ladder 47 assisted with master stream operations until being released 3 hours later.
At 930am, Ladder 47 was requested to a 3rd alarm fire in the City of Lebanon in the 700 Block Cumberland St. Members assisted with Rapid Intervention duties and overhaul until released and were back in quarters at 1pm.
Just before 10am, Engine 47 assisted the Newmanstown Fire Co. with a vehicle accident with injuries at Stricklerstown Rd and Dierwechter Rd. Personnel assisted with basic vehicle accident operations. |
