PASSING OF FIRE POLICE LIEUTENANT PAUL KRICK

The WVFC regrets to announce the unexpected passing of Fire Police Lieutenant Paul Krick.

We are extremely grateful for Paul’s 45 years of service, his willingness to answer the call, and his commitment to serving his community. His service and dedication will not be forgotten.

Paul joined the WVFC on 1981 and after serving as a firefighter for over a decade, he served in several operations officer positions before eventually transitioning to a fire police officer where he remained very active.

Captain: 1996-2002
3rd Assistant Chief: 2004-2005, 2007-2008
Fire Police Lieutenant: 2016-2026

OBITUARY

Paul E. Krick, age 62, of Wernersville passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026 of natural causes at his residence. He was born in West Reading on September 24, 1963, the son of the late Paulette (Schneck) Krick and William R. Krick, who survives. Paul was a 1981 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School. He was last employed at Magnatech International in Robesonia and previously at M.G.P., LLC in Womelsdorf and Sinking Spring. Paul was a dedicated member of the Womelsdorf Volunteer Fire Company #1 (Station 47). He was a volunteer firefighter for many years and more recently as fire police, responding to many calls, with over 40 years of service to the community. He was also a member of the Myerstown V.F.W. and was a social member of several other local fire companies. He enjoyed hunting (deer, ghosts, and rocks), camping, and riding his motorcycle. In addition to his father, he is survived by two sisters, Paula Yerusavage (George), and Brenda Fulop (Rich); five nieces & nephews; several great nieces & nephews. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Sharon Weaver, her daughter Heather who he was like a step-dad to, and her two granddaughters, Lily and Katie, who loved their PawPaw. Services will be announced at a later date to friends and family. Mull Funeral Home, Womelsdorf has charge of arrangements.
