On Tuesday, June 2, for our weekly training night, members of the WVFC got together for vehicle rescue training with members of the Western Berks FD.

The purpose was to have our members familiarize themselves with the capabilities of our combi-tool which is carried on Engine 47 as well as the functions of the hydraulic tools carried on Rescue 18, which serves as our primary rescue in parts of Heidelberg Twp. Members went over different scenarios with two vehicles utilizing hand tools, air tools and hydraulic tools.
